A very good learning exercise. Couple that with studying what you had to do with the camera to get both shots (or what the settings on the camera were). You can learn a lot from doing something like this.
Nice efforts.
I like this study your decided to undertake this time around, lights. Well, #2 in my opinion, is the best one of all with the shadows included in with the light. The angle of the light is also there to enhance the shadows and vice versa. #1 was shot at 1:32 pm just after lunch and #2 was shot in the morning at around 6:43am.
Would you care to elaborate further on what your findings are with this Sherwood?
I'd be interested in your take on it.
I like this shot too....the sunlight and the shadows are perfect...
Hey Sherwood!
Thanks for the reply. I was just curious as to what you thought and which lighting conditions you preferred and why!
Sorry for taking so long! I’m kind of “indisposed” from time to time!
You embarked on a steep learning curve as part of a planned exercise and I reckon were very successful in ascending it. Well done on excellent captures; and I bet you have come away happy with the results of investigating changed lighting effects on a subject, with a better understanding of it.
