Helpful Posts: Bobo (Bobobird) has an image (that we've seen on here before) in the final selection for the Smithsonian.com annual photo competition. Go to http://www.smithsonianmag.com/multim...sts-180954445/ and look along the line to the 10th and final image in the 'Natural' World category. And there's that spider that we've seen before on CiC.
Huge congratulations to Bobo. To get in to that sort of company is a massive achievement indeed.

Such a terrific achievement!
Fortunately, we voted that shot the winner of the November 2012 monthly competition. That at least proves that we have good taste.
We also now know Bobo's real name!

Besides being a great shot I think it should be pointed out that a Reader's Choice Winner will be awarded and readers are asked to vote for their choice, so maybe people here should be shuffling over to Smithsonianmag.com to vote for Bobo's image. A person can vote once per 24hrs, at present he has 1% of the votes. (At least, that's what it said when I voted.)
