I'm Hunter and as the title suggests... I am from Texas.
After discovering the awesome tutorials and lurking the forums, I decided to join. I am a complete noob with respect to photography, and plan on purchasing my first DSLR in the coming months. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, and camping. I also really enjoy playing with my GoPro hero3+.
Taking my interests into account, I believe that a Canon 70d with a Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 would be a solid choice to begin with. I would like to have a FF, but cannot justify the cost given my current lack of skill and understanding. Anyway, I have some great trips planned in the coming months and years and I would love to learn to capture decent/good/great landscape astro shots, architecture shots, and make some high quality videos to share my experiences and hopefully inspire some along the way.
