    Swan Takes Flight

    This guy posed for this shot by flying almost directly overhead. I liked the contrast between his feathers and the beautiful blue of the sky.

    I like the composition, Joe...the use of blank space is very nice here for this shot. Could have had a good little cloud meandering but it was not to be. I like that the white of its feather and the dark of its feet and beak have the right separation too. Very simple.

    I too, like the contrast of the pure white feathers/black beak & webbed feet set off by the beautiful blue sky. I also like the position that you captured the Swan in in that we can see its feet and he/she seems to be looking down at us.
