Re: Everything Within Reach
This is an interesting shot, Jack...the title is also apropos to your shot. Wonder why he is wearing a hard hat...is he worker at a nearby construction building or something?

Re: Everything Within Reach
Hi Jack. I like the composition . That metal post and the plastic bottle balance the composition well. I wish that three wasn't there, in that case the bottle would stand out more, but nothing much can be done about it. The man looks very concerned with his mobile and your title puts the emphasis on it very well. Nice shot

Nice capture. I don't know how people do it, eating and drinking sweets together, the drink always loses its sweetness.

Re: Everything Within Reach
That's a cool shot. Bit of a high carb diet. And he doesn't look like he's training for a marathon.

Re: Everything Within Reach
Thanks Izzie. There are numerous construction sites in the area he was in so yeah, definitely construction worker.
Thank you Binnur, he was sitting on top of a fire hydrant so I can't image it was all that comfortable but, as intent as he was on his mobile I'm sure he had tuned everything and everybody out.
Thanks John, yeah really, pop tarts and Mt. Dew?
Thanks Dan. This was shot I think in the afternoon, so maybe it was a snack before he started 2nd shift. That or he just has some interesting eating habits.

Re: Everything Within Reach
Great eye, Jack. It works really well!
Binnur: I wouldn't be surprised if the bottle would be less separated rather than more separated from the background if the tree wasn't behind it.

Re: Everything Within Reach
Thanks Mike! While unintentional (the tree behind the bottle, not me agreeing with you) I agree that the bottle would likely be less noticeable if the tree weren't there.
