Bracket fungi This one has images!

These three species were on mossy, rotting tree stumps in the rainforest on the British Columbia west coast. All within 50 metres of each other. Very fascinating environment. Or is it a rotten environment?

Interesting subject. In the second image the fungi looks like a contemporary fountain.

Impressive, you have good lighting on them. Wondering if you had flash or torch, or just natural light.

Natural light. If memory serves it was a clear blue sky but a lot of overhead foliage to scatter the light. The surrounding cedar trees have a very thick canopy.

All very nice find to photograph. #1 with all the greens and the blue and the spider's web too!
#2 Nicely done on this one, but my favourite is #3 with the varied positions and background.

Very nice series, Trevor. I, too, like to find and photograph them. You had nice angles and lighting on each one. The third one shows some excellent details on the colored rings. It's my favorite!
