Guitar smashing, make up artist and smoking!

So today i had a gig with my fellow photographer partner. It was a blast!!!!!!!

Even though i was mainly handling the lights but i did take a few photos.

The Guitar Smashing:



This we had planned since last week. I handed over an old crappy guitar i had, the models boyfriend doodled on it, and we got to destroy it! And let me tell you, that were no easy feat! It was a cheap crappy guitar, but it was a strong bugger, bout ten tries!!! And with each one it slowly broke away. The final image was selected then i photo shopped other pieces of the guitar from shots of my model just throwing them over the scene. And it wasnt till now that i noticed i left a lightstand leg in the shot! I will fix that before i giver her the photos.

And we have now got a make up artist! A talented person! And i had to take a few shots of her.

The Smoker:



And here is the other shot i did of the talented musician/friend.

I learnt a few things with this, that i will take more photos next time!!! And that i need weights for the stands, i now have a slightly broken octabox. Oh well.

I like the action shot better. I am glad you took that first one. I am not much into portrait yet, so I cannot comment on the others.
