Great shot and love the architectural details on the house. Possibly a very slight clockwise rotation.

Welcome Zutty. Beautiful image, I agree with Jack about levelling the horizon. The image looks a bit hazy, adding some contrast might fix it. I think there is also a slight pink color cast in the image and you can fix it by adjusting the white balance but I actually like it.

I agree with what Binnur said but otherwise, a postcard photo for sure. By the way, I didn't know cameras worked in -25° temps?!

Thanks for the input guys. I agree and will level it out a bit and fool around with the slight cast. I went back to the site and it is now mud season, a sort of in-between winter and spring, so I'll do another shoot there a little later on. I'll post some others asap.

They do if you duck into your car every 10-15 minutes or so....grin. And you'd better bring some extra batteries!

Really lovely image but, I tend to like it a bit better with some slight sharpening ans a bit of added contrast...

Great image. I agree with Jack p. the building looks fantastic. The light and detail of it really makes it pop. The image does appear to be slightly tilted though.

    Re: Maine Winter

I have seen it in several photos and my re-action was it needs some rotation ... but then I think about the matter a realize it is correct representation of a receding coastline ... so the question remains do we 'correct' nature to satisfy a belief that horizons are level?
I am glad we do not have minus 25C here I would simply not survive such a venture ... plus wind chill I guess?
