Maybe. It's from a rookery on a golf course near my house. They all look pretty much alike but here are a few from the rookery. I don't recall which camera I used for any of them but it's in the EXIF.
This one is from the east coast but shows the double crest that is only apparent at breeding time.

Nice shots! Looks like mirrorless can be a good alternative to DSLR or superzoom/point and shoot. I've seen that double crest that I recall, but have wondered about the odd name!
