    Agree with John and Dave here...beautiful ... I never tire of deer images -- I kept think of them as venison salami actually...I haven't tasted any for three years in a row now....

    Nicely done , I would have wanted more DOF and sharper images of the other deer . That is only my opinion , although this might detract from the main subject. All said it is a nice piece . Could also work well in B/W a lot of tones to work with there.

    Hi jim . IMO shallow DOF puts the emphasis more on the lady in the FG and the image is nice as is. If everything was sharp and clear in the photo the lady in the BG with her whole body would be distracting. May be very little clarity or contrast selectively would help the one in the FG to stand out more. Difficult to say without seeing it. Nice and very natural looking shot anyway
