Re: Dragonfly
Very nice expression on the face of your subject, David...the demographic changes when it comes to family, so do not feel guilty for not posting until you have the time. Just my opinion, pal...(and if I make another mistake typing that 'opinion' word again, I will end my internet session quickly too! )

Re: Dragonfly
Very nice David,
I was going to ask whether you had used fill flash, but then I checked the EXIF data and confirmed that you had.
I have a mental image of you lying flat on your back beside its regular perch and waiting patiently until it returned to get this unusual viewpoint and light angle.
Whatever it took, well done.
Cheers, Dave

Re: Dragonfly
+1 on what Binnur said. For some reason it evokes feelings of my childhood. I cant for the life of me think why but the light reflections on the wings definitely have something to do with it.

Re: Dragonfly
Nice capture. Show the family what you do and how you share your images online, that will get you an opportunity to interact with your family and us.

Re: Dragonfly
Cheers everyone for the kind comments
The youngest member of the family is only six months, so we are enjoying every minute of having him here, well except for the crying bits
