Another early effort from last year, that I hope to have improved from since. What struck me here was the cross-like shape of the sidewalk.

Beautiful shot, Jeff...I like everything that I see here. I don't care what others see or think here. I am particularly curious about the crosswalk...the path looks like thick carpet from here...do you have a shot of what was written on the rock on the RHS? Would be interesting to know what it says...
Yes I like it too Jeff. It's the sky that makes it for me I think.

I also like this shot but, would like to see it rotated a very tiny bit counter-clock-wise. The chapel seems to be leaning a tad to the right. Additionally, is this church a light blue color?
Very nice and colorful
Thanks Izzie,
I tried to crop the original RAW file to see the words on the plaque. It is far from clear to read but as much as I could make out it says something about it being hallowed ground of the original building in 1724 and the current bldg. having been built in 1794. That intrigues me enough to go back to the site which is not too far from where I live in Portland, Maine. I'll take a close up of it when I do...Thanks again for asking and for your support.
No, it is white and I mismanaged the post processing. It was at the very beginning of my photographic attempts. I will be trying to do better and in fact go back to the site in the spring to re-shoot it...Thanks for your input.
Nice, looks like there are other plays of light on and near this structure. Well worth exploring further.
Looks like a page straight out of a book. Nicely done.
beautiful capture. I rather like the hint of blue on the church- nice contrast against the green and the clouds.

While you are in the investigating mode, you might want to check how this is being currently use as a chapel too. A little bit of history on your next write-up will be interesting.
Again me . +1 to Irene
Beautiful shot!
