I took these photos a few years ago but tried a re-edit there. what do you all Think? All C&C welcome

Wow! Those are super Chris. I love the shooting angle in #1. May I ask what your focal length was for this shot ? Super compositions and I like your edits very much BTW what software do you use for B&W conversions ?

To be honest Im not sure what the focal length was as its been a few years since I took these. All I can tell you is that they where taken on a bridge camera. Someone on the site will extract the EXIF data and enlighten us I am sure.

High Binnur I forgot to tell you What software I used For Black and white conversion. I used Photoshop cs6. First I applied some levels then I applied the B&W filter with the red filter I think?

As others Chris, I really like #1.

I feel that with #2, I can't suggest a better position to shoot from because what might improve the building would worsen the cat (and vice versa), so not much you could have done. (and a crop doesn't help much)

I like both... the intricate design on the stairs added to the texture of it. Nicely composed...
#2 -- intricate design of the stairs and the cornish edges makes this scene interesting punctuated by the plastic tubing for rainwater at the LHS. The cat did not bother me at all simply because you have added that the composition. I think it adds to the beauty of the scenery...Excellent job...

P.S. I wonder how #2 looks in colour?

Thank you all very much. I must admit I enjoy positive feed back on my images. I could read them all day long (slightly narcissistic)

The images didn't look to good in colour I thought so I converted them to black and white when I first took them. The only re-editing I did was to add some structure using Viveza which I think has really helped both shots. Unfortunately I no longer have the raw files for these photographs as I have a broken external hard drive. I think I mentioned it in an earlier post. I still haven't got round to bringing the hard drive to the shop to see if it can be repaired. I think Ive been holding off cause I don't want to be given bad news that its un-fixable

You make me laugh...everyone has narcissistic tendency from time to time especially when it comes to one's image/s. You are not alone...
