Helpful Posts: I forget their name, but I've seen threads here on them before.
I spotted these last night as I was watering the flowers for my wife.
We haven't had weather conducive to them being active but now they are!
I'm going to try to be vigilant and take a shot each day as they come to bloom.

I think it is a kind of lily. This kind will be the calla lily (arum) family I suspect...I have a few different coloured ones in my side garden...

Looks like a hippeastrum to me. I think they call them Amarylis in the US.

I would love to see what variety of amaryllis you have. Amaryllis usually bloom between February and May. Take plenty of pictures!
I am so jealous that your climate is temperate enough to grow them out of doors!
I have about 30 different varieties stuffed in every window of my house.

Welll.....the guessing game is over...now to see how beautiful you have it this year...climate in California is always good for year round flowers...'m jealous of your weather. I missed living in San Diego for the year round weather.

Looks like Amaryllis "Apple Blossom", but I could be wrong! Very pretty!
