Very nice work. Did you shot a series of these? I am wondering if a few seconds later the water mist would have settle down a bit giving a better view of the scene.

Thanks Erik! I did shoot a couple but all while they water was splashing or when he was out of the water. I am a sucker for ruffled feathers

Techs are nicely handled here, Barbara. Regarding content, bathing/preening shots are nearly always more interesting in theory than in practice. This one follows that rule IMO. It's definitely one of those times to shoot in burst mode in hopes of hitting one of those exceptions just right.

I liked it for the ruffle of feathers, texture and the added splash. I will look through the rest of my shots, I did shoot burst and see if there are others I think are better. Thanks for the food for thought.
