    Trevor, this is interesting...I like the composition and the noise you introduce to this shot...lots of details here and the texture is close enough but not intruding. I was looking for marine life but can't find any...too cold to go out ???

    The rocks are just above the intertidal zone and only get covered at extremely high tides or by storm waves. An extremely inhospitable place for life as the puddles are very salty, the rocks are black and hot in summer, cold in winter plus any dirt is washed away so there is no water retention from rainfall. Just a few tough lichens and simple algae.
