Feelings
I went to another powerlifting meet this past weekend and once again the facial expressions were great. Edward Steichen said, "Photography records the gamut of feelings written on the human face..." This young man, as he is grabbed by the spotter, realizes he cannot lift the weight and will not advance in the competition. CC, please.

Re: Feelings
I like it Dean, makes me wonder if he was successful cause at that point it looks like it could have gone either way

Re: Feelings
Great intensity. Sounds like an interesting place to have a camera - bet you have more.

Re: Feelings
Thank you, Barbara. He did not make the lift. The spotter, in the back, had just grabbed him to keep him from passing out or being injured.
John and Mark,
Thanks for your comments and, yes, Mark, I have more.

Re: Feelings
Good capture, Dean...can we see some more from that event? It will be interesting to see different genres, areas of photography. I have not been in any of these events and will be interested in what you got to show from there...

Re: Feelings
I like these second two, Dean. The first one looks like optimism to me, and the second seems to know that he has made it?
