Helpful Posts: I went to another powerlifting meet this past weekend and once again the facial expressions were great. Edward Steichen said, "Photography records the gamut of feelings written on the human face..." This young man, as he is grabbed by the spotter, realizes he cannot lift the weight and will not advance in the competition. CC, please.

Thank you, Barbara. He did not make the lift. The spotter, in the back, had just grabbed him to keep him from passing out or being injured.

Good capture, Dean...can we see some more from that event? It will be interesting to see different genres, areas of photography. I have not been in any of these events and will be interested in what you got to show from there...
