Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

Last month i have been to bangkok and i have clicked this candid shot at float market.

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, frame, crops and processing.

    Thank You

PS : Please click on the image for lightbox screen view (Highly recommended)

Looks good to me. Possibly you could get away with a little bit of extra highlight brightness; but maybe that darker look is more mysterious?

Very well done, Raj! The darkness of the black and white gives a hint of mystery.

Nicely done, is there more to this image, is the subject part of a stage show?

Thanks a lot for ur valuable review she was selling this fan and moving this fan just like chinese do in the floating market and was on the boat. As soon as I saw her I changed to burst mode and started shooting in the moving boat and got the desired shot.

Very intriguing image. My suggestion for crop is about the fact that about half of this image is the out-of-focus fan, and the most interesting thing, the partial face is stuck in the upper outer third... Consequently, I might fool around with cropping off the lateral and bottom quarters so that your subject is better emphasized. Just a thought for some experimentation.

Very nice... Raj...the mysterious woman...it tells a very nice story by itself and that can lots depending on the interpretation of the viewer.

For portrait, it is always good to keep the leading eye at the vertical center of the image.

Personally Raj, I like this (a lot),

I played around with a few crop ideas (showing less than is here now), but found I prefer it as you have presented, on each side of the image is either something that frames her face, or has leading lines directing us to her eye. I don't think it needs more than we can see either.

I am also quite happy with the exposure/brightness; you have the not quite clipped catch light (in her eye) and the rest of her skin tone looks good to me.

My only question is; what was the light source?
Looks like a bare lamp, somewhere down low to camera right (her left).

    Well spotted and captured, Dave

thanks a lot for your valuable review The light source was the light reflecting from the water. It was shot in the floating market and i was there in the boat and she was standing on the step just above the water. It was shot in the afternoon time with strong light bouncing off the water.
