    Sand Sculpture

While on vacation somewhere warmer than here I ran across this sand sculpture. The detail was amazing.

    It looks a little grainy.

Just kidding, nice capture, and you're right, the detailing of the sculpture is amazing.

Cool image, I seen some great sand sculptures at Glastonbury music festival a few years ago.

Jon - very nice and a warm relief I am sure from Indiana. Did you grab any vertical shots? I also think a close up on Crush in the window would be an interesting composition.

Awesome! I love sand sculptures. They have a contest in Galveston every year but it gets so crowed there is no way to get pictures! I tried last year.

This sculpture was done for the resort we were staying at about 1 month before we got there. They say it will last 2-3 months depending on the weather. When it is completed they spray it with a mixture of water and elmers glue to help hold it together a little bit longer. I would love to see them actually create these sculptures.

Very nice capture. I wonder if a CPL filter might have darkened the sky (depending on the angle of the sun).
