Nice job on all of them! The third one is my favorite. I see that I wasn't successful in talking you out of getting rid of the pelican between the father and daughter.
Try just using a healing-type cloning tool. That's what I did and it worked like a charm. It wasn't even content-aware. If you have one that is content-aware, it will probably be even easier.
I didn't see the original thread for this image, but what a lovely shot.
My favourites here are #1 and #3
I like the 4th image, with or without the assaulting pelican.
Hi Barbara You changed the order of the images in post #5. In order to prevent complication I will give you the post number and the image number that I like. I like your second image in post #5, I also like the tint you used in the first image(in post#5 again). If you could apply the same tint to the second image, It might also look nice.
For cloning the pelican, members of CinC usually like nice and clear photos so I thought I agreed with Mike about cloning the bird. But after seeing your cloned composition, I think I prefer the uncloned one, because that pelican makes the composition stronger by flying low in front of them.

Well done, Barbara!
Any time I post more than three images in a thread, I number them to make it easy for the participants to quickly identify which photos they are referring to.
Binnur thank you and sorry for all the confusion, it was getting late and I got so excited that I was able to remove it I have now numbered both and changed the order so that they are the same. I am still trying to decide if I prefer with or without the pelican just wish he had been in same vicinity but a little higher.
There's always an 'undo' key! Sometimes I do something and sit and laugh at how I could have got something so wrong but learning what doesn't work is as ( if not more ) valuable than learning what does and it all adds up until it becomes instinctive. Well almost.
I like the tinted one and #4 best of the above.
Lovely evocative work.
I've not read any of the conversation up to this point and just looking at all four photos, I like #3 the best. The crispness just stands out to me.
I find #3 to be the best....nice work.
