This wine lives up to the high quality of its front label, which is one of the most beautiful combinations of simplicity and grace I have seen in a long time on a label. In a normal viewing situation, such as at the dinner table, rotating the bottle causes the direct reflections to gradually change position in the most interesting way that merits a video presentation. In this still shot, I positioned the direct reflections so the one at the bottom of the "tree" anchors the graphic image.
The wine is made in Spain by Bodegas Paniza from 40% Garnacha (also called Grenache), 30% Syrah (also called Shiraz) and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Setup
The background is white foam core lit by a small continuous-light lamp fitted with a diffusion sock to knock down the brightness. That lamp is placed behind the wine bottle. A medium continuous-light lamp lights only the wine label from the left. The label is positioned as close as my 35mm lens will focus.
