Raindrops on flowers is something of a personal choice. I know that some people actually spray blooms before photography but I usually find the drops distracting.

I don't care much for roses, but I think the raindrops are the subject this shot as it is the drops on the lower left petal that are in focus. So, I would crop about a third off the top and about 1cm from the bottom.

practice and more variations of the same subject from differing angles and distances will give you more options for PP

I am with Greg here...the drops are the subject here so I will zoom in on some of the drops and look at the probability of looking behind the bubble for some nicer patterns. And the colour is so subtle too. Good shot, Dean...
