    Barbara, try downloading CombineZP which is free and it will automatically stack your images. PS too is just as easy but CombineZP is specifically made for focus stacking. There are other programs too but I have never used them.

    I've been away for a few days and after reading the above posts, you've received a lot of good advice. I do take a lot of flower photos and each flower poses a different situation in how to get the best shot. Like, Geoff F, I take time looking at a flower to decide which angle will be better. I'll take several shots from different views to see which way I think is better. I do love digital!!! What I think is good may not please everyone else, but then, I'm out there to please myself and hope others will agree

    From what I am reading, the bluebonnets are not that tall and have very close neighbors. I'd go low and lay on the ground and try to isolate one similar to what you did with your third shot. Because you won't go to jail, I'd move some of the pushy neighboring bluebonnets out of the way

    I can't wait to see what you come up with on these, You have great perseverance on your bird shots. I'm right there with you on your bluebonnet efforts!!!!
