Don't drink and drive it makes you fuzzy.
While walking past a restaurant this afternoon the reflection in the window caught my eye so thought I would share to see what you thought about it. I did find this one a bit tough to execute, I tried various angles and this was the best that I got the image. It was taken from outside the restaurant, the wine glasses were on a table inside and the vehicles were reflected in the window.
Any comments and critiques are most welcomed.

I have to tell you, it's oddly cool, and works for me! It really needs to be viewed in lightbox at full magnification.

Well spotted, Rita. I think it is a pretty cool street shot. I really the abstract nature of it - ie the glasses floating in traffic.

That is quite clever. I can see the interior of the restaurant through the glasses but not in the window. Nice.

Very well spotted. Great street style photography. Love the sharp glasses against the blurred background.

Great eye! Superbly executed! Consider adding a slight vignette.

Just a great piece with so much going on , the magic of the glasses and than the beauty of the reflections in them . Great perception of your surroundings , the fine details that we so often don't see . I like it exactly as is .

Only a suggestion, hope you don't mind my playing and cropping it?

Rita - I'm with Ian on this one.
I think the concept is great, but you might want to refine the concept execution a bit. The image is really what the wine glasses are showing, but they play a fairly minor role the way you have presented the image. Make them the focal point and eliminate much of the out of focus parts of the street, and I think you will end up with a much stronger image.

Hi Rita. Very interesting shot. I was going to suggest a square crop but Ian's crop works too. So, I think it is a good idea to try different crop options for a better look

That would make a great ad for not drinking and driving. Well seen and nice capture.

I like the image the way it is, Rita...as well as the description of why you took the shot. Edit it and cropping it closely will lose the essence of what this shot is all about...just a thought...and opinion...

Re: Don't drink and drive it makes you fuzzy.
Raymond & Mike, thank you for your comments.
Ian, I don't mind you playing with the image at all. I always appreciate when someone sees an alternative that I didn't.
Thanks Manfred. Yes, I do like the closer crop. I felt that the glasses were a bit lost but didn't think of cropping to fix it (duh).
Binnur and Izzie, appreciate your comments.
Alan, my friends have made the same comment about it making a good ad.

Great image... Creative... gorgeous colours. I'm in love with the cropped version, and think a square crop might also work nicely to include the building and awnings.

Re: Don't drink and drive it makes you fuzzy.
For me, Ian's crop is too close to the glasses. My crop is a bit different and I also adjusted the curve to provide a bit more pop.

Re: Don't drink and drive it makes you fuzzy.
Mike, thanks for showing your edit. I did a very similar edit this afternoon and I do prefer the crop with more space above the glasses. When you adjusted the curve did you do this on the whole image or just the glasses? Comparing this to what I did today, the glasses in this one look much better than what I came up with.
