    Get off my rock

This Tern was letting the Oyster Catcher know in no uncertain terms that he should get the heck off his rock. The Oyster Catcher however did not listen. CC alway welcome and appreciated.

Cool shot. Obviously awesome content and excellent techs on this image. Looks like you tried a little more sharpening on this shot. It paid off. Very crisp without unsightly artifacts.

Both of these species can be really vocal. Did the oyster catcher fuss back? This is excellent stuff. Well done.

If you particularly enhanced the O.C. eye it might be a tad overdone. If you didn't then nicely captured.

Thanks Dan! I tried to do to the limit without going over on the sharpening.

Yes the Oyster Catcher was trying to impress his mate who was on the next rock over so he did his fair share of racket. The Tern ended up flying away but was very indignant.

That's pretty much what they look like. Crazy birds with clown eyes.

Thanks Brian, I don't think I did anything to his eye. They tend to have very exaggerated eyes in both color and form.

Bird humour at its best , good one Barbara. I can see the increased sharpening on this one but it does not look overdone.

Thanks for the morning laugh...I really love the expression on both birds but the tern's is most comical of the two...it is always a delight looking for your shots each day...I'll never know what I might find that will make me either laugh, smile or just look at a "WoW" factor image...Good job.

    Hello Barbara
one of those "right place, right moment" pictures I like very much. The oyster catcher expressing a bit of astonishment regarding his smaller "contender".

Brilliant shot Barbara, the Oyster Catcher looks a bit sheepish after being told off by the Tern
