Wildscape with Sarus Crane #1 (Fine Art) - C&C Welcome

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

In this image i wanted to show the 2 trees in focus and on the other hand i wanted to make the sarus crane out of focus just to add one more element in the frame in the foreground bcoz dont want to make the sarus crane so prominent. I have confirmed from few birders that they are able to identify the sarus crane.

When i took the shot, this is exactly what i had in my mind as output.

I have adde 2 versions, #1 is clean and #2 with the grains with little bit more contrast. Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, frame, crops and processing.

With some Film Grain and contrast added in post processing to give a Nostalgic feel

I am not a bird expert, but I like the mood of both shots and though I prefer #2 with the grainy outcome, I like #1 better because even the background is more pronounced that the blurred version of #2.

Interesting concept, it is calming to my eyes, however I try to find something sharp within the composition and unfortunately that forces me to look closer at the image, finding nothing that appears sharp.

I agree with John: on my screen there is nothing sharp.

The photographic concept reminds me in a "reversed" way of pictures I saw on this site:

thanks a lot for your valuable review and suggestion. I havnt sharpened the trees deliberately with this web version to give a soft image. I have updated the description with the image with sharpening applied to the trees.
