Nice shot, Tejal. An interesting setting, lighting and framing, but is looks a bit overprocessed for my personal taste. This is especially apparent in the skin tones.

I find that one can often get away with some level of heavier processing when it comes to architecture, but the moment people are in the image, the processing gives their skin a really un-natural appearance, so a degree of caution is required.

Again, it is up to you the photographer to decide how you want the image to look.

Also, just above his head there are three little bright areas which looks like slits of light coming from another door or something similar. They are slightly distracting to me so I would clone them out.

I 100% agree with you. While processing, little consciousness in dealing with contrast & exposure can help to give better look to the image.

. Yes, I have noticed those spots. I also found them distracting, but then didn't edit. I should have cloned them, as you suggested. And yes, thank you very much for your all inputs. Sometimes, certain things come in our mind but we don't implement, but when we get some similar ideas, it gives us confidence

This is what I learnt frm manfred 1 year back to give importance to skin tones and now I take a lot of care of the skin tones. Thank you manfred for such valuable suggestion

Tejal...beautiful colours and the composition is very good too...just get rid of those three tiny lights and you got a more winning image, just like Geoff said. +1 to Geoff comment. (message #2)

Very nice image Tejal Although it is nice as it is, I would crop the blue part on the RHS to put the emphasis more on the child.

Great photo and very helpful comments regarding processing, cloning out lights etc. There is one further adjustment (obvious to me at least, a personal obsession) for this image - straighten - the door frame and door are not vertical and that catches my eye above all else.
