Nice set, Joe. That's one place I've always wanted to go but years come and go with no opportunity.

I'm not prone to flattery so please take it sincerely as intended. I think that is the best cormorant shot that I've ever seen. Many people capture the eye but I don't think I've ever seen such feather detail.

The great egret in the tree is a classic and well executed. Nice job overall.

Thanks Dan, very much appreciated. I think the feather detail is from finally dialing in my camera/lens using the auto-focus fine tuning. I found a method on the internet called Dot Tune that worked excellent. I had sent my camera to Nikon for repair, they replaced the broken part, cleaned and re-aligned the mirror. When I tried the repaired camera and lens the focus was way off. Even though I hated to, I had to use the auto-focus fine tuning.
