    London: A Magical Night

Decided to take a stroll at night a couple weeks ago despite the winter cold. It was well worth the chill. Comments welcome!

Everything taken with X-E2 with the XF 10-24mm lens and a tripod.

    Focus and exposure are good.

Too much lens distortion of the verticals for me on #1 & #3.

Possibly a bit too much beach on the last one; but I wouldn't want to lose anything from the sides.

Nice set of images. Well worth braving the cold for. The second and last are particularly good. Enjoyed the back story o your WEB Site as well.

Nice series...I love them all apart from the distortions that John mentions...wonder how it can be corrected to make them straight...just curious..

Two is my favorite. If there wasn't the building distortion in the first image, that would be my winner as it's a pretty cool shot.

No 2 for me as well and as for the lens distortion I feel it adds to some scenes.

    Re: London: A Magical Night

    Thanks for the comments everyone!

I understand there's quite a bit of vertical perspective distortion in #1 and #3, and could have corrected it but then it would crop out a good portion of the picture so I decided to keep it. Might not be everyone's taste but I felt it added a bit drama into the pictures.

Very nice series. #2 and #4 are my favourites but especially 2 with St Pauls and the Millenium Bridge.

A very nice series caught on a rather cold light. I like the lines and focus on the second shot best. Again, a nice series!
