    I like the colours in this shot, John -- pink and blue -- er, assuming my monitor isn't playing tricks on me, that is. Even though she caught you, she has a nice smile.

    I might try to tone down that light below her bag a little.

    Nice composition and to me it's a bit more interesting because she's not looking directly at the camera.
    Have you been sprung or is there something else she's looking at? The photo will never tell you, only she and the photographer can.

    Thanks for commenting. If you live in an area with a moderate tourist area, that would be the best place to practice candid photography.

    Good image John. You have used the railings cleverly (deliberate?) but I agree about the light. Intriguing colours but they are very nice and they compliment her well..

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the comments and critique. I wonder if I should remove the reflected light on the rail emitted from the light? Perhaps not, as there are other reflections on other rails.
