Thank you David! There were several issues but with the help of the many wonderful experts here and lots of practice I have come a long way and still have much to learn. I used a Canon 300mm 4.0/f on these shots.

Grahame, on this one he was pretty much that close. Sometimes I crop but usually try not to, too much. On this guy he was just a few feet away and surrounded by about 10 others.
