I agree it is a tad tight. But I intended it to be about twice as large a shot. I don't know if it was a finger malfunction or a glitch. I did work on he colours. glad you like them.

I like the color and the 2 drops. I think that since there are only 2, they catch and hold the attention rather than if the bud looked as if it were rained on.

From what I can tell, you have done well creating the black background.

For a long time it was generally felt that my backgrounds were more than a little distracting. Basic black doesn't always work but it did this time. Did it with an added black layer and a mask. Then at up to 800x a little careful brush work.

My mother used to grow Empire roses in our backyard when I was growing up in Vancouver. Left me with a soft spot for roses. Now in the Philippines we have roses 12 months of the year.
