Penon Ifach
Morning all
I haven't been on the forum for some time, the usual culprits, work, family and my ever increasing attempts to get fitter.
In the UK the clocks have just changed meaning we are now technically in British Summer Time although outside it is raining buckets. This got me thinking to summer holidays.
Last year we spent a second holiday in Calpe, Spain where I took this shot of the nearby mountain Penon Ifach. This was taken from the rooftop terrace of our villa. Hope you all enjoy it and if anyone is also having a rainy day it might help you think of wonderful family holidays in the sun.
All the best
Darren

Heading for Lisbon and Estoril in June. This has made me long for it even more. Nice shot.

Re: Penon Ifach
Darren - nice shot, I like the composition as a whole. I am wondering if there is any more details hiding in the night sky in the shadows. I think bringing out some small details in the sky (stars, etc) would add some to the photo. Still great shot, well done.

Re: Penon Ifach
@deetheturk wow I guess you don't get so many days like that in Turkey. When I was in Turkey it was super hot.
@John 2 Enjoy Portugal, never been there myself must go some time
@TheBigE From what I can remember the day I took this it was quite hazy, I don't remember it being a very clear night. Just had a look at the file in Lightroom and raising the exposure and /or shadows doesn't reveal any stars or other detail. Maybe this year!
Thanks everyone else for taking the time to look.
