Re: A few of a parrot
Wow, I thought I was looking at a turtle at first (first image). Very dramatic processing.

Re: A few of a parrot
Thankyou everyone, did wonder whether I committed a few faux pas. I.e. 1 hit with a pretty direct flash, 2 & 3 wondered whether it was a little too beginner'ish.
Thankyou for the welcome.

Re: A few of a parrot
Welcome, great images, I have a Grey and an Amazonian orange wing, the Grey wont shut up lol but the Amazonian is yet to speak
If you don't mind, please take a minute and go to your profile and fill in your name and country, we are quite a nice lot on here and we speak on a first name basis
Cheers David

Re: A few of a parrot
Not got a clue what it's photographic name is just know it as monochrome with a parametric mask selecting the reds.

Re: A few of a parrot
Hi Stef, don't know that I'm overly keen on the monchrome with red but that's just my taste and what you have done is very well done.
The stand out shot to me is #4. It's an excellent composition with the kind of coy look and an extra splash of colour. Love it.

Re: A few of a parrot
Interesting set Stef, love the composition of No 4 for being something unusual.

Re: A few of a parrot
Thanks everyone as for the monochrome a little indifferent myself but had a similar 1 in a set which someone liked. As for have to admit liking the negative space in the composition bit unsure about the DoF what do others think?
