Thank you Gerry, our communities here really know how to celebrate and with the warm weather just about all events are held outside.

I've come late to this one but agree with everyone, they are a great series and with your narrative you have made them interesting for us too - isn't that what some of showing our pictures is about ? Few photos stand absolutely on their own, most have a story behind them for the telling.

I think I would have ordered them differently as the ladies wandering along the shore seem to be one set, whereas the obvious noisy ones (not camera noise - drum noise, if that makes any sense) seem to be another group.

Indeed a wonderful set, and truly a pleasure to view. Indeed, those dresses are gorgeous, more please. Beautifully colourful.

Actually, my favourite is the 3rd for the sheer exuberance of the moment captured.

Kaye, it's never to late, thank you for commenting

I think it's often difficult deciding just how many and what pictures to share, do you just post your single favourite from a session or others that some may prefer also? There really is no simple answer

I did perhaps overlook the ordering of the images, a bit adhoc

Thank you Christina, I'll have a go at fashion photography once I have finished learning sports

That 3rd one became my favourite also after I undertook some PP work on a very similar shot because to me it really summed up the sheer joy of the people attending.

My pleasure... I've viewed your cricket images and am of the opinion that you've mastered sports... So bring on the fashion photography!

    It's a belter!

So much colour and vibrance. But for the one with the minor's foot they're all great. My pick though would be #1 & #5.

When I PPd and posted that image Graham I never even noticed that minors foot although I'm suspecting it's someone's hand on a child's head but just can't recall the instant I shot it
