    Buffy Fish-Owl

I was lucky to come across this classic scene in Java last week. My driver spotted this Buffy Fish-Owl and pulled up for me. I'm not sure what was more impressive; the owl or the tree it was living in, but it made the picture all the more interesting. C&C welcome.

He looks like Yoda from the Star Wars films! Interesting bird and tree.

Wow! I love it! The color of the moss is beautiful, and the texture of the tree & owl are outstanding!

Love that Barbara and you're right That's a great capture Wayne. Glad you managed to lose most of the brighter foliage behind the tree.

It looks like it's been up all night partying. Cool image and my first time to see an owl like that. Thanks for sharing!

Yes Dan, to looks like it was made especially for a movie set to add drama and improve the scene.

Nice shot! It might be my monitor but the image has a green overcast to it?

    Good shot

Have you tried to increase the black point a bit (about 20, so that the shadow becomes dark, and not gray)?

No I haven't, but will do when I get my Aperture fixed. Just using IPhoto at the moment. Can you do it on Photo Shop CC?
