It has improved a lot Dan especially in sharpness and I like the effect but I can still see some purple in it and I am in my calibrated screen right now...

Much nicer. More like what I had in mind, but I agree with Izzie that the color cast is still present though less so.

Still a great scene and well composed, I agree though - still a bit magenta-ish to me, too.

I guess there's no other choice. To get it right I'm going to have to remove my rose colored glasses for a while

I think I started out behind by having the tone slider so far to the right with the original WB. I think I'll go back to the original and start over. It may be easier to tone down the greens than dealing with the overall magenta cast.

Thanks for the ongoing feedback. The only reason I'm going through the trouble is that I may print this one. As I said I've taken dozens of photos of these falls and this is really the first time I've been content with the results.

I'm trying to convince my bride that this set was better than ever before due to being shot with more expensive gear

Good luck with that! Surely you realize that she'll always believe the earlier sets were better because they were shot with less expensive gear.

Of course I realize that. But I am merely a flawed human, after all, and can rationalize anything regardless of truth or logic

You have been in front of that image for so long, give it a little bit of rest for a day or two, then go back to it and see how you go...
