These are beautifully sharp and I don't agree the first is an odd angle, yo have caught the motion perfectly with the little bit of land being his obvious destination.
Very nice Barbara, beautifully captured
Top quality shots Barbara, well done.
Dave
Yes it's an odd angle on the first one Barbara but it works well. Great image quality on them both
Nice capture, sometimes the back view is the most you can get. Looks like you are getting closer to the front view though.
Great shots Barbara
Both beautiful shots (again!)...I like the first one very much...there is action there. The second one is a good portrait shot...both are good...no let us change that word: excellent.
Awfully nice, Barbara - I learn from your nice work.
Great images both !
It's hard to critique you. You obviously have your camera mechanics down pat and although some of your frame choices aren't to my taste, they are still fascinating and enjoyable to view. I love your work.
Mark thank you!, the first shot was a case of do as I say not as I do I was not in front of him like I wanted to be but took what I could get and that will happen just like the background will not always being ideal. Someone gave me the advice to always stand up wind from a bird as they do not like to have their feathers ruffled and will tend to fly with and not against the wind. This is not 100% but I have found it is at least 90% of the time. I am fortunate that the ones here are skittish to a point but have been around the fishermen enough to be a little less so than other places. I am flattered that you take any learning from my photos and am happy to offer any help I can to you. I am still very new to this and learning every day.
