Mrs. Great Horned Owl has two chicks
This is the fourth consecutive spring that this Great Horned Owl has had chicks in her nest in a cornice at the entry to the LBJ Wildflower Center. I couldn't get both chicks with mom at the same time, but managed a decent shot of each with the FZ1000:

I just wonder about cropping #1 a little tighter; more like #2, or at least 5 x 4 ratio?
Otherwise looks good to me. Those potential highlight overexposure issues have been nicely constrained

Thanks for the kind words, folks. I came very close to cropping No. 1 more at the top, and may do so yet. Thanks for the suggestion.

Tom....click on your image and move it around with your mouse in lytebox, then you will be assured that whatever crop you are going to make will be suitable to your eyes...anyway, I love #1 here...
