    Very nice images... If memory serves me correctly, the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest bird flying... It appears that this falcon can reach speeds in excess of 200mph (320kph) in a dive...

    Thank you Richard. Yes he flew very fast and that coupled with my learning curve of the new lens yielded 2 almost good but not good enough in flight photos Hope to get another chance at it sometime.

    Great shots. Peregrines are making a comeback in the UK and breeding in the cities. However, they still keep their distance. The only one I have ever seen close-up was when I was teaching (in East London). I looked out the window and there was one sat on the roof opposite, just a few yards away! Needless to say I was nowhere near a camera.
