Fantastic shot!
You can even make out the dark shadow of the fish he's going after just in front of him.

Ditto. The only eagles we get in the UK are in Scotland. Those I've seen there all keep their distance!

When I saw your title, I was expecting a single engine airplane also termed collectively as a "taildragger". I did not expect an eagle but this is a excellent pose/shot. I can't fault it.

Thank you all, my bad for not responding sooner.
Izzie, I have flown in a Taildragger, quite interesting during taxi time.
This nest has at least one, maybe two Eaglets, we will be watching over the next few months, hopefully will catch some flight shots of the wee ones as well. We are rather blessed here in the PNW with a fairly large population of Bald Eagles.
