Re: Photo Competition for March 2015 - THE RESULT
Considering that the photos that took top honors display racing go-karts, a bird in flight and a landscape made in classic Ansel Adams style, nobody can say we don't have a lot of talent around here making photos in different styles. Congratulations to all!

Re: Photo Competition for March 2015 - THE RESULT
Wide spread of votes speaks for itself. As usual a difficult choice but somewhat easier with Donald's great b/w piece. Congrats Donald.
Congrats John - fine piece of action shooting. In focus coming at you shots are not easy by any means. I also like the perspective which give a different angle to the usual shots of car(t)s zooming along sideways.
I am glad that mine came 2nd and thank all those who voted for him.

I'd like to add my congratulations to the winners and honorable mentions. Fine images all around. Donald, the detail is amazing.
I'm not sure if I voted this month, or not, as real life has been very hectic and I just don't recall now. If not, my apologies as all of the images are worthy of evaluation, admiration, and (of course) a vote.
Again, congrats.

Re: Photo Competition for March 2015 - THE RESULT
For some, a visit to a grave yard gives an eerie, shivery sense of fear or disquiet or foreboding. But far from being ghoulish, such a visit often yields memories of good times, laughter, and bright days. It is a connection to the past, particularly if someone you love is there. This is a great shot, and I'm sure one that has meaning to the photographer.
Congratulations, Donald, and Thanks for sharing your photo with us.
