Tips for Carrying a Heavy Lens?

I never tire of posting this image of my daughter on my tripod...hey, I'm kinda old.

William, I'm intrigued by this set up. I have the heavy lens, the camera and the scooter but not the mounting bracket in your photo. What type bracket are you using on your rig?
