Some life forms in my back yard

I'm still raking leaves in the back yard - seems there's no end to it....
I unintentionally disturbed this underground nest this morning.....The babies did not cooperate too well. It took a while before the stopped squirming and show their faces.
    I can't make out what they are.....Bunnies? I didn't see mamma.

These are not so cute - and there's a lot of them....

The first pic does look like rabbit kits, though I would not swear to it, not being familiar with the Fort Worth fauna.

The second are clearly earthworms, also known as lobworms or nightcrawlers. It is good to see nice photos of such animals. I keep meaning to take photos of the brandling worms in my compost heap. Perhaps yours will persuade me to do so.

    Well done!

They are wabbits Kris...dogs like them. The worms are good in the garden to aerate the soil. Good shots...

Nice captures, the first could be used as a nature betting pool.
