    No worries Geoff, the Hornets around here are the size of small birds they come down and carry away the Honey Bee's and Waps, and their sting is horrendous give me a wasp any day!

    Thank's Grahame, they do look mean, I had a good look round and have been watching this one for a few days now, and there only seems to be the one, for now anyway

    Cheers Izzie, just you keep at it, you are doing great practice makes perfect lol my arms are all scratched trying to get close to the wasp but give me that to a sting any day of the week

    Great capture of the wasp David, I have to say they are very photogenic creatures but....they are not on my favourites list at all. Well done for being brave enough to get close to the nest builder.
