Daisy, in color and monochrome
I snapped Daisy in subdued light with the Lumix G3, Olympus Zuiko 45mm f1.8 wide open at ISO 1600. Mono version by Topaz BW Effects:

Tom, this is a nice pic of your cat. Your focus was definitely on the eyes (which is good) because of the shallow depth of field in the other areas of the cat's face.
Besides you aperture being wide open, you also were at a close distance to your subject.

I am with Binnur, I too like both versions....remarkable eyes...beautiful cat you have there and it does not look like it is old nor sick...in fact, a bit too healthy...

I also like both vesions but, prefer the color version slightly because there is more definition in the white areas of the lower face.
