Comp. is fine John but the colour balance looks way off to me. There seems to be a predominance of cyan and (perhaps) a little too much blue.

Nice composition of an oft visited, oft photo'd site, John, but seems to have a bit of a blue tint. Perhaps you intended it that way?

Hi John I like the image, I agree with John about the cyan color cast if you didn't do it intentionally .

    Hi John,

Thanks for the comments and critique. I used the LR adjustment brush which created the blue cast and also increased saturation perhaps a tad too much.

    Hi Zen,

Thanks for the comments and critique. I was trying a different method of editing, perhaps a bit too much.

    Binnur,

Thanks for comments and critique, I'll post a less dramatic version later.

Slightly different edit, emphasis on contrast.

It looks better than the first although I can still see some cyan BTW, I think it is a very nice image for a B&W conversion.

While writing my comment you have already uploaded the B&W and the image looks much better in B&W John

Made for mono John. There isn't a great deal of colour in the original anyway. The mono version has much more impact for me.

A perceivable color cast is there; even then it is lovely; ...and black and white is very nice

Thanks John, perhaps this is one of those scenes where you compose/expose specifically for black and white.

I like the last better...no colour cast, no too blue nor too cyan...no problem.
