Good shot, Robert. We do not have a thread for them, but some of mine are here... Birmingham - I always thought it looked better as a reflection
Do you want us to post others here, like the tree thread and pet thread?
I just had to have a go at this. My little lad was in the garden with his friends chasing bubbles made with a tub of bubble mix. You know the type, with the hoop in the lid. It was a little breezy but some of the bubbles settled long enough on the plants for me to risk breaking my neck charging upstairs for my camera. I did more but I am too tired to process. In fact this one needs a little more attention now I look at it again.
Steve
Now, that is beautifully executed.
ps - I don't seem to have anything with a reflection in it!
Thanks, Donald. It's funny but I've shown that shot to several people and they all love it. I have a down on it as it was taken in my mother-in-law's house!!! A case of artistic vision being obscured by prejudice?
If you are stuck for reflection shots, try black acrylic perspex to reflect every-day objects, like the following. I can let you know where to get it from if you wish.
Flooded runway?
very nice, Donald - very Michael Kenna! Have you seen his BW? http://www.michaelkenna.net/index2.php
No, I hadn't. That's spectacular. That's another trip to Beyond Words in Edinburgh on Saturday.
ps - Did you get my PM, Rob. Okay if you don't want to reply. Just wanted to make sure it got there.
