Re: Spring time
Antonio - you are making me supremely jealous. The last of the snow finally disappeared from the ground last week and the grass has started to look less brown. By mid-May we should have something worth photographing too.

Re: Spring time
A very nice mix of the focussed middle and OOF foreground and background.

Re: Spring time
Nicely done, it seems that spring is much sought after this year.

Re: Spring time
I like this image but, I am not so sure about the in-focus bare branch image left towards the top...

Re: Spring time
Thank you all for the nice comments.
The photograph was taken with the Panasonic GX7 + 20mm f/1.7 wide open.
I used my finger to focus in one of the plants. They were moving slightly because there was a little wind but as soon as I got the focus I clicked to get the picture.
Some part of the bare branch is also in focus I am sure because it is in the same area.
To process I used Nik Collection and LR.

Re: Spring time
I especially like that you have titled the series, Postcards. Serious photographers all too often in my mind dismiss the appropriateness of images that might be used on a postcard. I appreciate that many postcards display oversaturated images and compositions that convey little creativity. On the other hand, a lot of postcards do a wonderful job of making me want to visit the area where its photo was made and your image does the same.

Re: Spring time
Mike, I designate postcards as "simple photographs not meant to be exquisite". Even if they are so.
They are supposed to be simple but beautiful or beautiful because they are simple !...
Confused ? So am I LOL

Re: Spring time
Again, simple is good and perhaps something as in this scene that we so often overlook and ignore.

Sometimes we miss what is right under our nose. Very nice.

Re: Spring time
Thank you Grahame and Marie Hass for your nice comments.
This is a photograph that makes you stop a little bit longer than usual as you have to focus, adjust the aperture (wide open or near), the wind blows a bit its is out of focus, re-focus and ... bang !
