    Abstracts from a burl

    I went back to the burl I posted earlier. This time, I took a macro lens, and I stacked images to get focus through the entire depth. Given that people were not persuaded that B&W was the way to go, I'll post both. C&C welcome, as always.

    I like the color version, it seems to have more depth.

    Both are superb and put me in mind of granite cliffs.

    Thanks, all. I agree, and so does my wife. I'm just beginning with this sort of image, so there is a lot to play with.
